AMP Measurement Amplifiers and Output Controller
DMS-AMP, VOLT-AMP, POTI-AMP and D2A-AMP is a line of small, cost effective and very flexible measurement amplifiers and output controller. Each amplifier provides 3 independent measurement inputs which are filtered, amplified and digitized.
Each output controller provides up to 4 independent channels of analog outputs derived from digital data. The devices are operated over a RS-485 network so that up to 16 AMP nodes can be daisy-chained: totaling up to 48 measurement channels or even more 64 analog output channels on one network. Each amplifier can be combined with all other AMP versions.
The nodes are controlled by the host computer by a set of simple commands. RS-485 lines can have a length of up to several 100 meters so that the AMP amplifier can be placed as c lose as possible to the sensor. This allows measurements in electronically noisy environments because the measurement signal is amplified and digitized close to the source of the measurement assuring signal integrity.

DMS-AMP: DMS-AMPs are cost effective and very precise measurement amplifiers for strain gages. Every measurement channel can be factory-configured to hold a full-, half- or quarter-bridge.
VOLT-AMP: VOLT-AMPs collect the 0 to 5 volt signals of transmitters. They convert the signals and offer the digitized data to a RS-485 network. Additionally, they provide 24 VDC power to the transmitter (max. 100 mA each).
POTI-AMP: POTI-AMPs let act potentiometers and other passive devices as sinal sources. The excitation voltage is max. 2,5 volt. Various potentiometer resistances can be adapted by resistors on the POTI-AMP printed circuit, resulting in different signal ranges.
D2A-AMP: D2A-AMPs are small, cost effective and very flexible output controllers. They provide up to 4 independent channels of analog outputs derived from digital data.
